The Grossmont College Foreign Language Department would like to make you aware of a German Course for Beginners offered at our college during the Summer 2005 session: 

6 weeks, June 13 ˆ July 21 

GERM 120 - GERMAN I 

Section: 5500    

Time: 9:40AM - 12:55 PM 

Days: M T W TH 

Instructor: Johannes Bruestle 

Units: 5 (still at the bargain price of $26 / unit) 

GERMAN I/120: 

An introduction to spoken and written German emphasizing communication, the basics of grammar and pronunciation through total immersion instruction including individual and group activities, written and oral exercises, films, selected readings and cultural events.     

This five-unit course is offered at the bargain price of $26 per unit and is acceptable as credit for High School and College. 

German I satisfies 2004 - 2005 Grossmont College General Education and 2004 - 2005 Cal. State University General Education requirements. 

Please bring this course offering to the attention of your students who should have at least sophomore standing. Younger students may also participate in this class and receive high school and college credit through a „Petition‰ process.
