AATG San Diego Chapter's first annual Theaterfest got off the ground with plenty of enthusiastic and engaged participants and satisfied judges. In 2007 the audience was treated to five plays: Rotkäppchen by Patrick Henry High School and Hänsel und Gretel by West Hills High School in the intermediate division (3rd year German), Siegfried by Patrick Henry High School, Der Kaugummi by Albert Einstein Academies Charter School (3rd grade) and in the advanced category, Aschenputtel was presented by West Hills High School students. Dr. Astrid Ronke, president of the San Diego Chapter, submitted three Videos from 3rd and 4th semester students from Grossmont Community College.
